Measuring the concentration (Brix) or the refractive index (RI) in a product is important for controlling your process. An accurate measurement of the concentration (% weight), liquid density (% dry matter), refractive index (RI) or Brix in liquids or slurries gives a lot of information about your product. For example, the basic composition of raw materials is crucial for an optimal production process, resulting in a consistent end product.
