Controlling viscosity in-line in the foodindustry

With an in-line viscosity measurement you are able to increase the production capacity and quality of your food products, as for example in yoghurt and fresh cheese. The MIVI sensor from Sofraser is a viscometer at resonant frequency (vibration). These sanitary viscometers ensure perfect texture, consistency and concentration, without the risk of contamination with bacteria. The sanitary viscometer is easy to clean (CIP) and EHEDG certified. In addition, they have no moving parts; the instrument is therefore less vulnerable (even with highly viscous liquids) and requires virtually no maintenance. You are able to safely produce more in a shorter period of time, without the risk of a shutdown and loss of raw materials.

The Sofraser MIVI analyser is available in various versions with additional options. There are various mounting options, such as wall mounting (in a reactor or vessel), in-line (bypass) and in a measuring chamber (for small and flexible pipes).
