SWIR 640: Advanced spectral snalysis for pharmaceutical quality control

Headwall

Headwall's SWIR 640 hyperspectral sensor, with a spectral range of 900 nm to 2500 nm, provides an advanced solution for accurate inspection and analysis in the pharmaceutical industry. This sensor enables the inspection of pharmaceutical products, such as tablets, capsules and powders, for their composition, purity and possible impurities. Thanks to its wide spectral range, the SWIR 640 can analyse complex chemical compositions that are invisible to the naked eye or by traditional methods.

The SWIR 640 is compatible with the perClass Mira Software, enabling users to develop machine learning models for advanced spectral analysis. This sensor can be used both in laboratory environments and in-line on production lines, contributing to increased efficiency, real-time process monitoring, and improved quality control within pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The perClass Mira Stage, a scanning setup specifically designed to analyse complex processes and compositions in real-time, is also suitable for use with this instrument.

Key benefits

Wide spectral range: Inspect complex chemical compositions and detect contaminants in pharmaceutical products.
Non-destructive analysis: Ensures accurate measurements without damaging products.
Real-time process monitoring: Direct spectral data analysis for quick quality decisions during the production process.
Flexible applications: Suitable for both laboratory testing and in-line product control within the pharmaceutical industry.
Advanced software: Compatible with perClass Mira for machine learning-based spectral analysis and automatic deviation detection.
