Fast analysis of H₂S, CO₂ and H₂Ov

Meet Teledyne’s 6020L and 8800L series analyzers

Laser absorption spectrometry (LAS) refers to techniques that lasers use to determine the concentration or amount of a species in gas phase: absorption spectrometry (AS). The most commonly used laser technology for process control is based on diode lasers and WMS and is often referred to as tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS). The high sensitivity, practical characteristics, good tunability and long service life make it possible to manufacture instruments with this technique for very reliable and fast measurements. Unattended, these systems can run for thousands of hours with a minimum of maintenance.

Teledyne's 6020L and 8800L series analyzers use the latest Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy (TDLAS) for ultra low, fast and reliable analysis of hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2) and moisture (H2Ov). The use of differential measurements also means no switch valves, less hassle with scrubber media disposal, lower ownership costs, uncertainty of CO2, CH₄ and C2H₄ interferences are set to zero and a much faster response and readout time.
