Energy price increases

Improve combustion efficiency; save energy and reduce emissions

Optimizing combustion efficiency is important for proper operation of almost any industrial process that burns fuel. From cleaning burning natural gas to dirty coal-fired ovens. Because energy prices are rising, it is now even more important to optimize combustion. To optimize combustion, use Teledyne's in-line oxygen analyzers with zirconia sensor technology.

In addition to saving energy, Teledyne in-line oxygen analyzers also reduce exhaust emissions. After all, when the combustion is efficient, there is almost no smoke development, which results in less CO2 emissions.

The Model 9060 from Teledyne provides reliable and efficient oxygen monitoring capabilities. It combines proven zirconia sensor technology with a powerful and versatile microprocessor based controller.

Zirconium Oxide Sensor

The zirconia sensor is heated to 700°C. When the sample makes contact with the electrode of the sensor, it generates an electrical signal. This signal is proportional to the ratio between the oxygen concentration in the sample gas and the oxygen concentration in a reference gas. The reference gas in this case is the ambient air in contact with the electrode on the outside.
