More information on the Insta Trace from Teledyne – Inventech
Teledyne has developed and perfected the use of electrochemical oxygen sensors for a wide variety of applications. The brand's electrochemical oxygen sensors use the Insta Trace, also developed and patented by Teledyne. Insta Trace eliminates the inconvenience associated with replacing an electrochemical oxygen sensor. When a new sensor is placed and removed from the barrier bag, it is exposed to ambient air. The sensor electrolyte becomes saturated with dissolved oxygen. The longer the exposure to oxygen, the longer the recovery time. Typically the recovery time is 6 to 24 hours. For a factory it is important that the recovery time is as short as possible. With the Insta Trace, less than 1 ppm oxygen can be measured within 15 minutes of installing the new sensor.
