Corrugated board is one of the most sustainable packaging on the market. It consists only of natural raw materials (wood pulp, starch glue and 80% recycled paper) and is therefore 100% renewable, 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable. Even the processing and printing of corrugated board is often environmentally friendly: the inks are mainly water-based. Viscosity is an important indicator of the particle size distribution. Changes in the particle size distribution can affect properties such as density, rheology and layer thickness.
