Inline Brix measurement or refraction measurement in drinks and juices
There are many types of drinks that come to mind when it comes to “drinks.” Think of fruit juices, carbonated drinks, soft drinks, sports drinks and flavored drinks. With the exception of tea and sports drinks, beverages generally contain approximately 10g of sugar per 100g.Both sugar content and concentration (Brix) can be measured with in-line refractometers.In-line refractometers or BRIX meters are used to perform measurements on samples in mixing equipment that mixes raw materials and water, as well as a pass/fail check for products before they are filled.
