Headwall' s MV.C VNIR hyperspectral sensors allow food producers to inspect and analyse their raw materials, semi-finished and finished products quickly, easily and in real-time. This compact sensor offers a spectral range of 400 nm to 1000 nm, making it possible to obtain detailed spectral information about your food products, from moisture measurements to detection of contaminants or quality differences. The MV.C VNIR makes it easy to perform both quantitative and qualitative measurements in different production phases.

The sensor can be integrated into production processes and is compatible with the perClass Mira Software for advanced machine learning analysis or, in other words, it makes it easy to quickly set up reliable calibrations. The perClass Mira software enables real-time data acquisition for applications such as food safety, sorting, and quality control. Suitable for both laboratory and in-line applications, the sensor provides reliable and reproducible results. The perClass Mira Stage, a scanning setup specifically designed to analyse complex processes and compositions in real-time, is also suitable for use with this instrument.
