Tribo-Electric Dust Monitor for Flue Gas Ducts

Durag’s tribo-electric dust monitors provide continuous, real-time measurement of dust penetration in (dry) flue gas ducts. By installing the probe downstream of the filter, you can easily assess the effectiveness of the dust filter system.

The measuring probe detects the electrical charge transferred by dust particles as they collide with the probe, providing flow-dependent measurements. With a probe insert length of up to 1,000 mm, the system is adaptable to various process setups. There are also options for ATEX-certified units and external control units for enhanced functionality.

For those looking to expand their monitoring capabilities, the dust monitor can be upgraded with integrated flow measurement (differential pressure method) as well as additional measurements for absolute pressure and temperature.
