Air separation - Measure the purity of CO2

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a versatile gas that is increasingly used in industry in many processes, such as in the beverage industry, greenhouse horticulture, cryo-cleaning, gas packaging, welding, extraction, waste water treatment, fire protection and refrigeration technology. For use as an inert gas, it is common to produce this gas in a fired inert gas generator or to recover it from flue gases from fireboxes.

Air separation - Cryogenic gases

Cryogenic gases are mainly used because of the extremely low temperature, which can reach  about -270 ° C. Gases become cryogenic when cooled very strongly. When gases reach extremely low temperatures, they acquire properties that are of value for various industrial processes; such as the food industry where these gases are needed to kill unwanted bacteria by freezing food. In addition, the cold gases are used for the separation and recycling of various materials, such as car tires. Rubber, nylon and steel can be extracted from this, which in turn have their own functions. Some examples of these gases are argon (-186 ° C), helium (-269 ° C), hydrogen (-253 ° C), nitrogen (-196 ° C) and oxygen (-183 ° C).
