Gas velocity in ducts can be measured using different measurement principles, depending on the application. These robust in situ instruments are suitable for high process temperatures, elevated pressures, and ducts with small diameters.
DURAG ultrasonic flow meters determine gas velocity using ultrasonic signals transmitted and received between two identical sensors. This non-contact measurement principle provides reliable, continuous flow measurement in dust-laden environments, wet or dry gas applications, and even aggressive gas compositions.
