Highly sensitive optical dust monitor for continuous measurement of ultra-low dust concentrations, both quantitatively (mg/m³) and qualitatively (%)
When process conditions are not suitable for in situ dust measurement, an extractive dust monitoring system provides a reliable alternative. This is particularly beneficial for wet gas applications or when continuous access to the analyzer for inspection and maintenance is required.
For continuous dust monitoring in wet gas applications, DURAG offers an extractive system that uses an isokinetic sampling probe to continuously extract a representative gas sample. The dust concentration is then measured using a light scattering monitor.
For blast furnace applications, DURAG also offers a dedicated analyzer based on beta attenuation technology for accurate dust concentration measurements. This measurement principle is equally well suited for ambient fine particulate (PM) monitoring.
Continuous dust monitoring in wet gas applications
Representative sampling using an isokinetic probe
Choice of light scattering or beta attenuation measurement technology
Option for laboratory analysis of dust composition and heavy metals
Analyzer remains easily accessible outside the process for inspection and maintenance
