With TEWS microwave technology, you can measure the moisture content and density of solid products directly within the process. The sensors are used in a wide range of applications, including gelatin, corn, soybeans, cocoa and coffee beans, milk powder, potato flakes and granules, starch, and starch derivatives.
Because the measurement is unaffected by external product characteristics, it provides reliable data for process optimization. This enables real-time process adjustments and helps ensure consistent product quality.
TEWS sensors can measure moisture content inline in solid materials, both at the surface and within the core of the product. Thanks to the wide range of installation options, the technology can be applied across many different processes. Changes in product color, density, and mass do not affect the measurement, ensuring reliable and accurate results.
Inline installation is possible above or below a conveyor belt, in a silo, or in a transport pipe, including bypass configurations. The sensor is also highly suitable for at-line routine quality control measurements.
