The GRIMM EDM 280 is a latest-generation optical aerosol spectrometer for real-time particulate matter monitoring in ambient air. The instrument complies with the most stringent European standards: QAL1-certified for PM10 and PM2.5, offering the widest particle size range in its class and being the only instrument certified for 1-minute measurement intervals.

Minimal maintenance, maximum uptime

The EDM 280 is designed for continuous operation with minimal maintenance requirements. No consumables, a laser with a service life of more than 10 years, and an internal purge air system ensure uninterrupted operation. The drift-free optical system requires no routine adjustments.

A new optional Field Verification and Calibration Kit enables on-site two-point linearity verification and calibration without the need for factory return or data loss.
