Accurate moisture measurement in gas streams is essential for the quality, safety, and efficiency of industrial processes. MEECO analyzers operate according to Faraday’s Law of Electrolysis, using P₂O₅-based sensors that provide a direct and absolute measurement method. Within the measuring cell, water vapor from the gas sample is fully absorbed and electrolytically decomposed, generating an electrical current directly proportional to the amount of moisture, even at concentrations down to parts per billion (ppb).

This primary measurement principle delivers drift-free, traceable, and highly stable readings without the need for calibration or reference gases. Operators gain real-time process insight into gas moisture levels, crucial for process optimization, quality assurance, and safety in production, distribution, and laboratory environments.
