Accurately and non-destructively maps the chemical composition, quality, and physical properties of materials. Available in spectral configurations ranging from 400 to 2500 nm.

Advanced HSI solution for quality inspection in industrial environments

Complete hyperspectral imaging systems for laboratory and industrial applications

The Headwall MV.Scan series captures a complete spectrum for every pixel in an image, revealing information that cannot be detected by the human eye or conventional cameras, including chemical composition, material identity, contaminants, and quality deviations. While a conventional camera records only three color channels, a hyperspectral imaging system captures dozens to hundreds of spectral bands in a single scan, without physical contact or sample preparation.

The MV.Scan series is available in configurations covering the full range of relevant spectral wavelengths:

  • VNIR (400–1000 nm): Color and material composition analysis across a wide range of applications

  • NIR (900–1700 nm): Molecular analysis of parameters such as moisture, fat, and protein

  • SWIR (900–2500 nm): Advanced material identification and detection of chemical compounds visible only within the SWIR range

  • Dual VNIR/NIR (400–1700 nm): Combined spectral information from two wavelength ranges in a single scan

  • Dual VNIR/SWIR (400–2500 nm): The broadest spectral range for laboratories addressing multiple complex analytical applications
