An optical light detection analyser measures the dust content because the light beam traverses the measuring path twice. Measuring the dust content with light detection is very suitable for larger channel diameters and / or higher dust concentrations. Measuring dust concentrations with laser light is based on the principle of light scattering. For the lowest dust concentrations, both direct and indirect laser light are detected and evaluated.

Naturally Durag’s dust analysers are compliant with the high requirements of the new European standards and therefore suitable for measurements according to official regulations.
