Microtrac MRB's Sync simultaneously measures size and shape of particles in one instrument by integrating Laser Diffraction (LD) technology with dynamic image analysis (DIA, Dynamic Image Analysis). The Sync combines the most reliable measurement in the industry with the most advanced shape information.

Previously, Microtrac MRB integrated its proprietary patented 3D technology into DIA, which also made it possible to measure the length, width and thickness of even the smallest particle size. Using Microtrac MRB's patented technology, the Sync examines particles, with laser light, while a high-speed digital camera takes pictures at the same time. The Sync from Microtrac MRB displays up to 35 different particle parameters in a matter of seconds, within a range of 0.01 to 4000 microns. The collected data is processed by the FLEX software and presents the user with particle size and shape information on a graphical user interface that is intuitive and easy to use.
