The ASD Vis/NIR equipment will be delivered with the necessary software, accessories and local support. Calibration- and validation- support (IQ/OQ/PQ) is possible for companies where GMP, HACCP, GAMP and GLP are required.

Applicaties
Environmental research and inspection, forestry, fire protection, atmospheric modelling and vegetation measurements from aeroplanes. The characterizing capabilities facilitate the early detection of earth and vegetation changes. The FieldSpec® is portable as result of its compact construction, shock resistance and extreme temperature insensitivity and has also a built-in battery pack.
Researchers from universities, institutes and local authorities are using the FieldSpec® for spectro-radiometric applications. The FieldSpec®, ASD's flagship, measures the wavelength span of 350 - 2500nm in 100ms. With the Wireless and Ethernet communication, the LabVIEW® interface it is the most extended version of the FieldSpec® product line.
Accessories
The unique combination of the ASD Vis/NIR instruments with the specific ASD accessories guarantee a constant high quality of the measurements. The accessories are designed for field and laboratory measurements and are available for high and low source intensity. Some examples:

The "Muglite" is designed for analysis of raw materials using reflectance and absorbance measurements. It can measure samples through glass vials, or using the ASD sampling tray adapter.
The "High Intensity Contact Probe" is lightweight with a slim design and easy-grip handle. It offers a 10mm spot size and comes with a 1500 hour halogen bulb.

System installation and introduction. The ultimate goal is to bring our users up speed. It is an efficient way to learn the system usage and to collect additional wishes and demands. The support is usually taking 0.5 day but can be brought in line with the customer demands.
Calibration contract. A service to help customers, where employees don't have the expertise or time, to perform calibrations and/or validations. Contracts with a fixed inspection time span or a contract with service on demand are possible.
Maintenance contract. A maintenance contract is obviously necessary for each instrument that is used intensively. Different maintenance contract options are possible to meet our customer requirements.
Feasibility study. It is well known that NIR applications are still growing. In cases where the applicability is not known, a feasibility study prepare the decision and offer the solution.
With the additional support is the ASD VIS/NIR instrument within any organisation applicable.
